Terms of Service
Last updated 4 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and vDesktop, LLC (“vDesktop”, “we”, “us”) when you use the AI Masterclass — the online course at vdesktop.com, its lessons, the AI employee library, and any downloads we provide. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the course.
1. What you’re buying
The AI Masterclass is a digital course and membership. It teaches you to build and run AI “employees” — assistants that do real work — inside AI apps you provide yourself. Depending on your plan, you get lessons, an AI employee library, the AI Employee Builder that generates an install kit for a role on demand, updates, and (on Lifetime) the right to deploy the AI employees you build for your own clients. What each plan includes is listed on our plans page, and that list is part of these terms.
You bring your own AI. The course teaches you to use a third-party AI service — primarily Anthropic’s Claude. Any Claude plan you use (or another provider’s plan) is billed to you by that provider, not by us, and is not included in any vDesktop plan. We don’t control that service, its prices, or its availability, and your use of it is governed by that provider’s own terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to use paid features. Keep your login details to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it current. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a plan.
3. Plans, billing, and renewals
- Free costs nothing.
- Member is a subscription: $99/month or $349/year. It renews automatically at the start of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Lifetime is a one-time payment of $499. “Lifetime” means access for as long as vDesktop operates the Masterclass. It is not a guarantee that the course will run forever: if we ever permanently discontinue the Masterclass, Lifetime members keep access to the materials already released to them, but no further updates or refund are owed.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. vDesktop, LLC is the merchant of record — the seller — for your purchase; on your receipt or card statement the charge appears under our descriptor, “VDESKTOP”. We receive your email and plan details; we never see or store your full card number. Prices are in US dollars and are shown exclusive of tax: any applicable US sales tax is calculated from your location and added at checkout, and shown to you before you pay. We collect that tax — calculated for us by Stripe Tax — in the US jurisdictions where vDesktop is registered, and we are responsible for remitting it; we don’t collect tax where we aren’t registered. Prices may change, but a change never affects a Lifetime purchase you’ve already made, and a subscription price change takes effect only at your next renewal, with notice.
4. 1:1 calls (paid add-on)
1:1 calls are not included in any plan. Any member can book a 1:1 call at $100 per hour, paid separately. You’re charged for the time booked; what the call covers is up to you, within reason. We’ll do our best to help, but a call doesn’t guarantee a particular outcome.
5. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: we offer a 14-day money-back window on new purchases. See the Refund Policy for the full terms.
6. What you can and can’t do with the materials
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the lessons, the AI employees you build with the Builder, and the downloads for your own use — including building AI employees for your own business.
Unless your plan includes the resale/implementer rights described in section 7, you may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly post the course materials, the AI employees you build, or downloads;
- share your account or give others access to paid materials;
- present the materials as your own course or product.
Some course downloads are made available as source-available software under the MIT License with the Commons Clause (which permits use and modification but not selling the software itself). Where that license covers a file, it governs that file; these terms govern everything else.
7. Resale / implementer rights (Lifetime only)
Lifetime includes the right to deploy the AI employees you build for your own clients. That right covers deploying them for your clients’ own use. It does not let you resell the course itself or the lessons, and the limits in section 6 still apply.
8. Affiliate program
Member and Lifetime accounts can join our affiliate program.
- You earn 30% of the purchase price, paid one time per qualifying sale you refer. It is not recurring, even if the buyer you referred is on a subscription.
- Referrals are tracked by a unique referral link or code we give you. A sale qualifies when the payment clears and the 14-day refund window has passed.
- Payouts are made monthly, for qualifying sales from the previous month. We may require tax information (such as a W-9) before paying, and we report payouts as required by law.
- Don’t refer sales through spam, misleading claims, bidding on our brand terms, or self-referrals. We can withhold payment for, and remove you from, the program for abuse. If a referred sale is later refunded or charged back, the commission for it is reversed, and we may recover a commission already paid.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t use the course to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or harm others. The AI employees you build are yours to run responsibly: you’re accountable for what you let them do, for the data you give them, and for complying with the terms of whatever AI provider and connected services you use. We teach approval levels for a reason — use them.
10. Our content, and no guaranteed results
We own the course materials except where a third-party or open license says otherwise. Examples, sample outputs, and scenarios in the course are illustrative and labeled as such. We don’t promise specific results, revenue, time savings, or outcomes — what you get depends on your work, your business, and the AI service you use.
11. Third-party services
The course relies on services we don’t control — your AI provider (Anthropic and others), and any tools or connectors you link. We’re not responsible for their performance, pricing, outages, or terms. If one of them changes or stops, the course teaches the approach; the provider owns the service.
12. Warranties and liability
The course is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid vDesktop in the 12 months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything your AI, or a connected service, does on your instruction. Nothing here limits a liability that can’t be limited under the law that applies to you.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the course and close your account anytime. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the affiliate program, or charges back a valid payment. If we close your account for a breach of these terms, no refund is owed.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we’ll post the new version with a new date and, where it matters, tell members by email. Using the course after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and vDesktop agree that any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.
