vDesktop, LLC

vDesktop, LLC builds desktop software in Texas.

The company runs its own operations on Claude Code — design, build, verification and release. The current build is NameOS, a Windows desktop application.

The work is documented the same way it is done: what was built, what broke, and what changed because of it.

NameOS

A Windows desktop application. Designed, built and verified end to end.

Version 0.2.0 installs per user, so Windows never asks for permission. Release verification returned go for hand-over and no-go for publication, on one unexercised check. It has not been published.

What runs before anything ships

  • Failures are manufactured, not waited for. A broken update path once passed ten clean test runs out of ten. Verification now forces the failure it is looking for.
  • Nothing is reviewed by whoever made it. A review agent with no part in the build reads the finished thing cold, and it has caught what every earlier pass walked past.
  • A claim goes on the page only if a command can settle it. “It looks right” is not a result.

vDesktop also runs markdalton.com and adpanda.com on its own infrastructure.

vDesktop, LLC is owned and operated by its founder, in Texas.
